Rev. Fr. Michael Maliwo Labre had his Basic Education at Chamba. A past student of St Charles and Notre Dame Minor Seminaries at Tamale and Navrongo respectively where he obtained his SSSCE certificate in 1994.He gained admission to St Paul’s Seminary, Suwotoum, Accra for spiritual training from1997-98 and continued to St Victor’s Major Seminary from September 1998 to June 2007 for the Priesthood training. While in St Victor’s Major Seminary, he obtained a Diploma in Religions from the University of Ghana and BA in Theology, from Urban University, Rome (2007). Fr Michael also studied for and obtained a Diploma in Education from the University of Education, Winneba from 2009-2010. His first appointment was to Holy Spirit Parish Chamba, as Curate for a year and later transferred to St Joseph Technical Institute, Saboba (2008-2013) as a School Chaplain.He left for the USA where he studied at Boston College, School of Theology and Ministry, ( 2013-2014) and obtained Masters of Theology degree (ThM).
